guitar sounds of tinnitus?
Hi, we are again on acoustic guitar. I can play songs by ear, but when I play there is a buzz emenating my acoustic guitar. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong (technical wise) or something wrong with my yamaha (acoustic) guitar. Its from Costco (about 5 years) Although hasn't seen much use. We are breaking it again as my son is taking guitar summer camp. As I mentioned I play a lil by ear, but I with tinnitus. Thanks so much! I ask this is not a stupid question ….
It could be two things – you're not pressing down enough or far from the fretwire, or the action is very low, which is typical for low cost guitars. My money is on # 2. You may be able to take your guitar to begin configuration of 20-30 dollars, at least they can say what exactly is the problem.
