what’s the deal with my guitar?

i have a 4 string bc rich mockingbird bass that plays well for the first couple minutes, but then fades into a distorted fuzz while getting softer and softer until there’s no sound at all. it has active pickups and i’ve tried multiple batteries with no improvement. my other 2 basses work perfectly on my system. any ideas?

I would guess either defective pickups or bad soldering/internal wiring defect. Get it checked out by a professional.
