You may have heard of the new Series I of CA Guitars (Composite Acoustics), still wonder about the sound of instruments. "Wow!" It was my first thinking about playing a 7IM-CEFOR the first time. CA Guitars statement 'that I Series models have a "final response lower than most of the guitars "is definitely an understatement. And the low strings and have a depth, resonance, a mellow acoustic bass, however, that not overcome the low mids and highs. Sounds almost as if two separate instruments are being played. I like to play a slow version of "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" start the melody on the high E and B strings, while booting notes of the chord root in the bass strings. Sounds as if I have a bass player game together. I played the same melody strum a chord track, also, instead of just the root note, and 7IM-EC produced a full sound resonance.
Then used a glass slide. Carbon fiber guitars are great to play slide: You do not get the same resonance and sustain like a resophonic guitar, but you get much better resonance and sustain than would a wooden acoustic guitar. And you will not have that metallic sound with carbon fiber. The EC-7IM compares well with a slide in comparison with other Classical carbon fiber, but with a deeper, more resonant tone slightly, along with a little metallic sound (though nothing like the sound coming from a guitar resophonic).
Many guitarists guitars buy carbon fiber for the convenience of not having to worry about the humidity and temperature changes. However, with CA new ones, i Series, I believe that people will buy for the first sound, and worry-free aspect is an added bonus.

On and On $7.69 Jack Johnson has found himself a groove. Indeed, the Hawaiian surfing champion turned alternative pop-folk star really hasn’t changed things one iota for his sophomore release. Fans of Brushfire Fairytales should be delighted with the results. The groove is a mellow one–most of the 16 tracks here are semi-acoustic–and that easy-going spirit filters into Johnson’s lyrical philosophies. “What will… |
