Electric Guitar Epiphone
What are your thoughts on the Epiphone SG Special Electric Guitar Player Pack?
I am looking to buy my first guitar (preferably in packaging) and this one seems to be my best option now. But I am cautious and I'm wondering if any of you have had one of these and I want to say what you think about it. He looks very good. I have not played this particular model, but I played very SG, Gibson and Epi. They tend to have a good, fast feel, great for lead or rhythm and quite warm, clear tone. Amplifier will not satisfy him long, but it will be enough to learn about. The only recommendation is important for me to buy a good distortion pedal, because there is a pedal with that amp and you definitely can not get clean and change the distorted during playback. The Digitech Hot Head is cheaper and good for rock, Ibanez DS-7 is also good and cheap for the metal, and Behringer Vintage Distortion is cheap and has the heavy fuzz tone Smashing Pumpkins.
