Changing calibers on the guitar that I need to go back to sing?

I'm considering changing my string gauges of my wimpy 9-42s (hey I am a garbage disposal) of 10-46s in order to fatten my tone. I was wondering if I did it if I need to change the tone? And if so I have an Ibanez guitar (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-S320-S-Series-Electric-Guitar?sku=512503 ), With a liscensed floyd rose tremolo crazy (the ZR tremolo to be exact) and wanted to know how much work would it be?

If you're not a professional, probably will not make much difference. Changing gages in my own guitar generally has less of an effect of changing the temperature. However, a floating bridge of any kind can be confusing, changing gauges. The Floyd Rose would probably be more difficult to resolve than a floating bridge regularly. Therefore, you'll probably have to take it a store anyway, then you can get everything checked out.
