How do you restring an electric guitar after only 1 string broke?
I own a Yamaha Pacifica 112V and basically my E finest (string) broke and videos on youtube etc have electric guitars have a different configuration from mine, where the strings enter, near the bridge, is in a metal frame and im wondering if I have to remove all the strings and loosen the holder before I put a new sequence
No, you do not have to take the other strings off. Simply place the rope through the bottom. Must be able to slide under the metal bracket just before the tuner (if not, loosen it a little bit, and retitghten it). Make sure to turn around the tuner the same direction as the rest of the strings. You will probably have to cut the rope so that it involves only a few times.
