Stay Safe on the Road with Truck and Vehicle Spill Kits

If you're a truck driver, it's important to carry a truck spill kit regardless of what type of materials you transport. It's absolutely crucial if you transport hazardous materials, even if you only do so occasionally.

By carrying a truck spill response kit on board, you'll be prepared in the event you encounter an accident that involves a spill, even if you're not the one transporting the spilled materials. Portable spill response kits include everything you need to manage a spill. They contain absorbents, personal safety equipment, bags for temporary disposal and cleaners. Kits also contain reflective triangles or safety lights that alert traffic to the spill and clean up being undertaken.

In some instances, accidents may involve hazardous materials or chemicals that general or universal truck and vehicle spill kits aren't suitable to clean up. If you're in doubt about the type of materials or substances involved in a spill you encounter, don't attempt clean up with a general kit. Some portable spill response kits are designed for partial use. This means you can simply replace items you use to clean up a spill by buying refills. If you prefer to own this type of kit, check that it's designed to be resealed.

Truck and vehicle spill kits are available at various prices. Although a cheap spill kit may be better than nothing, try to invest in one that contains everything you need to clean up a spill and possibly spares of some items such as safety goggles and gloves. This will allow you to ensure the safety of anyone who may help with the clean up as well as anyone else located in the immediate area.

LCD screen cleaner kit; can I use this to clean my computer?

There are cleaning wipes and a spray bottle of cleaner. On back of box it says it is suitable for LCD monitor and NB screen cleaning.

It should be fine, NB stands for netbook. IE Most netbooks have a glass/plastic sheet over the actual LCD screen, which provides a smooth surface, different texture.
