Play Guitar like Eric Clapton, Sum 41 and Metallica Now!!
CLEARWATER, Fla./ February 4, 2002--Play your favorite song on Guitar now. It’s totally possible with the Visiosonic “Play Guitar” learning software.
A Windows application developed to learn guitar and play live with accompaniment tracks. The application has a proprietary computer aided performance system, which allows anyone to start playing immediately. “The cool factor here is that all of the songs of today are available using our software. How boring is it for a kid or adult to play twinkle twinkle little star. Kids would rather play SUM 41, Mettallica and adults would rather play Eric Clapton,” said Joe Vangieri CEO of Visiosonic.
There are multiple modes in the software for traditional learning, which does take longer, or computer aided performance with real-time note correction, which turns a beginner into a seasoned veteran. The latter mode we call our "take the win" mode. It lets the beginner know what it feels like to play like a pro, and the on-lookers can't tell the difference.
Our big breakthrough in learning technology is based upon a proprietary teaching methodology, which focuses on basic rhythm, timing, and hand positioning. We have researched all available music instruction software, and have recognized a glaring omission of rhythm and timing analysis. Also, most instruction focused on teaching notation, we show exactly how to play with a virtual dynamic instrument view. That enables students to play immediately by giving them the ability to apply what they see in real-time. The software in its present state works on a Windows PC with a MIDI interface. Guitar, keys, drums, bass, and microphone can all plug into the
same PC and a band is magically formed. “Since the software is written in C++ it can be ported to the X-Box relatively easily,” said Joe Palidin Chief of Development at Visiosonic.
Kids want to play video games and music. This is the first product to give real musical skills in a game format. In a recent survey done by NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) over sixty-five percent of the population either play an instrument or would like to play. Parents will buy this product for the educational value.
The product is available for demonstration and sale @ www.Visiosonic.com.
