Vintage Guitar Insurance

I'm going to Calgary from Ottawa in March. I have a dozen guitars that will be sitting on ...?
I'm worried about the guitar sitting in a moving truck for 6.10 days, leaving a province with high humidity to a province, with almost no humidity and temperature variations as possible. Each has a quality process and will put in acoustic sound hole humidifiers, but I'm still very worried about my babies. Any advice would be appreciated. I really have no other option than shipping them (acoustic 5, 7 and a vintage electric bass), through air, but it would cost a fortune. Perhaps a floater insurance policy?!?
Has every reason to be concerned about these changes in humidity and temperature. I also have a guitar and so can relate to their concerns. What I found helped me was the styrofoam packing around my guitar - yes, even in the case itself. He will provide some insulation against the fluctuation of temperature / humidity. There is debate as to whether you would do well to strings of their instruments before packing them for shipping. I've heard arguments for and against what they do to make a call you can make. I do not de-string my guitar when we moved from Alberta to Ottawa, but I made sure that was well packaged and properly insulated. I attended an outdoor rally, and recently it was a beautiful warm winter day, I cringed when the guitarist came on stage and started playing. Others around me also shuddered at the idea of bringing a musical instrument string off during the winter. Since you can not know with certainty precisely how long it will take their guitars to travel from Ottawa to Calgary its only option is to make things as easy as possible for them.
